What would you like to be remembered for, after your death?
I want to be remembered as a mom who loved God and her family. I want my husband to say I was a great wife, and my kids to be able to say I was a loving and caring mom.
Are you are morning or night person?
I am definitely a night person. I can stay up reading, playing on the computer or doing chores half the night. But then I hate mornings like something terrible. I hate getting out of bed and getting going. Maybe if I went to bed at night, mornings wouldn’t be so bad?
What are your favorite hobbies?
Reading and cooking
What is one goal you’d like to accomplish during your lifetime?
I want to be able to retire one day. With the economy the way it is these days, who knows if anyone my age will ever be able to truly retire.
If you could have an endless supply of any food, what would you get?
I could eat Hot Ranch Crackers all day long. I got the recipe from my husband’s aunt and tweeked it a bit. Mix together 1 1/3 cup oil, 1 1/2 tbsp crushed red peppers and 1 package Ranch dressing mix. Take an entire box of saltine crackers into a gallon jar or similar size storage container. Pour the mixture over and roll, toss and turn until everything is coated. Take the lid off for about an hour to let everything “dry out” and enjoy!
What is that one thing which makes you different?
I worry about almost nothing. I know that whatever is going to happen is going to happen, and it will all work out in the end. No point in wasting any of my life worrying about stuff.
What’s the one thing, you can’t live without?
I can’t live without my family. After that, I must have some chapstick!
If given a chance, who would you like to be for a day and why?
I don’t know that I would be any specific person, but I would love to be a football on-field reporter for the NFL.
What’s your favorite movie of all time and why?
What would you do if you had a million dollars?
A million dollars? We would be completely debt free, Hubby would get a new truck, kids would get college funds, our parents would get a little something something, buy a house with more than one bathroom, and then put the rest back for a rainy day.
What’s your favorite album to listen to over and over and why?
I love anything by NEEDTOBREATHE, I just love their sound and all their songs.
Would you like to know the day you’re going to die ahead of time? Why or why not?
Definitely not. I’m a planner and an organizer. If I knew exactly when I was leaving this earth I would be so consumed with making sure everything was planned out for my kids and family that I would not take the time to actually enjoy my time with them. I would prefer to just enjoy the life I’ve been given, make the most of each day, and let God do His thing when he’s ready.
What one thing are you most proud of?
Have you seen my kids? Every time I look at my children I can’t believe that God has given me such amazing little people to care for. For many years we thought we would be a childless couple. I’m so proud of those two children that call me Mom.
What is your favorite way to waste time at work without getting caught? (we won’t tell)
Apparently filling out this form, haha!
You were just given a yacht. What would you name it?
If a movie was being made of your life and you could choose the actor/actress to play you, who would you choose and why?
Sandra Bullock. She is gorgeous and has seems to have such a fun, laid back personality.
What do you keep in the trunk of your car?
I drive a minivan, so technically I don’t have a trunk. But that area behind the third seat is the home to a cute froggie potty chair. The kids and I commute each morning and afternoon and sometimes Ting just Has. To. Go. Right. Now. We can pick a dirt road and pull over to do her business.
Tell something that nobody knows about you.
I can’t think of a single thing no one knows.. I live a pretty open-book-life.
Name the most famous person you’ve had a face to face encounter with (“brush with greatness”).
Carrie Underwood. We are both members of Sigma Sigma Sigma Sorority and she was at the National Convention one year.
If you could be any animal in the world for 24 hours, which animal would you be? Why?
A giraffe. I can’t even reach the top of my kitchen cabinets. Imagine being able to see the tops of trees!

“It is what it is”
What’s your favorite sport?
Football, football, and football. More specifically, I love the Texas Longhorns, the Dallas Cowboys, and Peyton Manning.
If you could plan your ultimate vacation, where would you go?
We would load up a motor home and just take off. We would spend months and months just driving around the country and taking in all the sights.
If you could meet anyone from the Bible who would it be and what would you ask them? (Besides Jesus)
Mary sacrificed her reputation, her life, her everything to be Jesus’ mother. She raised a son and then watched him die a horrible and painful death. In my book, she is supermom. I would love to sit down with her and get some parenting tips.
What is the craziest (or stupidest) thing you have ever done?
I seriously can’t think of a single thing. Maybe I need to be more adventurous!
If you were on death row, what would your last meal be?
macaroni & cheese, ranch mashed potatoes, red velvet cake, and a dr. pepper
