Champions for Kids #SimpleGiving Service Project

I am a member of the Collective Bias®  Social Fabric® Community.  This shop has been compensated as part of a social shopper insights study for Collective Bias and its client.

With Thanksgiving just around the corner, we are all going to be making multiple trips to Walmart to pick up groceries for our holiday feasts.  From now until November 11, Champions for Kids has given us all an quick, easy way to give back to kids in our community.  Look around for the Champion for Kids #SimpleGiving purple displays!

My Walmart has huge display modules, with all the items, in the big isle upfront:

There are also a few smaller modules with different items: Champions for Kids #SIMPLEGiving Display #shop

This campaign is focused on providing quality personal care items, from great companies, to local kids in need.  The collected items will be given to the school districts where each Walmart is located!

This is a great way to get your kids involved in a local service project.  I know we are all busy, but teaching our kids to help others is important.   Champions for Kids #SIMPLEGiving Service Project #shop

Also, if your kids are like mine, they participate in a multitude of activities.  If you visit the Champions for Kids FAQ page, you will find a PDF (under the How can I help? section) you can print and distribute to other members of your community.  I printed out several and took them to flag football practice and AWANA at church.  Many people want to give back, but just are not aware of this super, simple opportunity.  You can also spread the word by sharing this post on all of your social networks.  Pin it, tweet it, Facebook it.

Make sure you follow Champions for Kids on Facebook and Twitter to read about how other people are helping local kids, and to make sure you never miss an opportunity to participate in the #SimpleGiving campaigns!
