Today was the first day of the thirty-second year of my life.  I really don’t have any profound reflections on my thirty-first year.  It was a good year.  I ran my first marathon.  I had my first real running injury.  I didn’t have a mental breakdown.  I say it was a success.

I have a few goals for the next 365 days.  I think I am going to keep them between me and God.  Only two have anything to do with fitness, and they are pretty lame, so I won’t bore you.  I have written them all down, and maybe this time next year, I’ll share them with you.

Thanks for all the birthday wishes on Twitter and Facebook.  They really do mean a lot to me.  I have to share one of the funniest with you:

What do you think?
