If you know me well, you know I am not much of a girly-girl. I may wear make-up once a week and you are very lucky if you see me with my hair actually fixed, and not in a bun or pony tail. BUT, up until last November I always had my nails painted. I went through a phase. I left all my nails bare for eight months. I don’t know why. There wasn’t a grand reason. I just neglected them entirely.
Well, the last few weeks I busted out of that phase and I have been painting away. I am back in the groove. I also discovered something to share with you guys: the perfect base and top coat to make polish last on natural nails.
Start with China Glaze strong Adhesion Base Coat:
Apply color, and then finish with Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat.
Here are a few pictures I took of my nails after SEVEN days:
You can see a little wear, but no chipping. AWESOME!
In the two last pictures, my ring fingers are decorated with press-on nails that also lasted the entire time. They are Broadway Nails imPress Press-on Manicure and you can purchase them at Walmart or Walgreens. They are cheap, they last, and they peel off with no nail damage. Perfect.
In case you are wondering, I wasn’t easy on those paint jobs. I hand wash all my dishes, I shower daily (sometimes twice), give two rowdy boys daily baths, and just live life. This polish combo sticks.
You can tell, I am in love with all shades of pink. What is your go-to color that brightens your mood?
