Ah, this is already week 5? Wow. Last week went a lot better for me. I am starting to get into a routine with my classes, running, and the boys, so stress is starting to slow down. I have found it easier to make better choices and stay away from the boy’s snacks after dinner. When I open the pantry, I have been stopping myself and really questioning if I am actually hungry or if I am just bored. Hopefully, I can break this habit with a little more practice. Also, another trick that I have actually been implementing is eating slow. Every nutrition expert tells us to eat slow and actually savor each bite, but it is easier said than done. The experts are correct, it really does make you feel fuller and more satisfied.
This week I weighed in at 136 pounds so over week 4 I lost 1 pound. I am happy.
