I am so glad I was able to get back to normal running this week! All the snow melted and I was able to return to my normal routine.
Sunday:
I rested
Monday:
I ran 4 miles in 37:53 with an average pace of 9:28 minutes/mile on the super awesome tread mill.
Tuesday:
New Year’s Day. I ran 5 miles in 49:57 with an average pace of 10:00 minutes/mile. It felt very good to get outside and run again. I think I found a winning combo of gear to make these cold runs more bearable.
Wednesday:
I ran 3 miles in 29:32 with an average pace of 9:51 minutes/mile. I ran this at my parent’s house and good grief I hate running on the HWY to their house. It is so curvy and scary. There is no shoulder on the road and everyone drives soooo fast.
Thursday:
I ran 4 miles in 38:21 with an average pace of 9:35 minutes/mile. I drive into Benton and visited my old gym to knock this one out. I really did not want to run on HWY 298 again.
Friday:
I spent 60 minutes on my Mother’s elliptical. That thing is the devil.
Saturday:
I ran an awesome 14 miles in 2:33:25 with an average pace of 10:58 minutes/mile. I ran in the woods on logging roads. It was so beautiful and peaceful. I am a huge fan of trail running now. I only climbed 843 feet during my trail running, but don’t trail miles count double?
What do you think?
