New Round of Insanity

The Spring 2013 semester started yesterday.  I am not really sure how to feel about my classes yet.  I don’t feel overwhelmed after the first day, so I suppose this is a good sign.

This semester I am taking Organic Chemistry 2, Ecology, Comparative Morphology and Evolution of Plants, and University Writing.  Of course, I know all of my chemistry and biology professors and exactly what they expect from me.  I feel comfortable in their classes.  The University Writing class is a whole new species.  For one thing, I hate leaving the science building.  It always seems like the maturity and IQ of my classmates drops considerably when I am in a non-science class.  I know that sounds awful, but I admit I am an intellectual snob.

I am excited to finally be in Ecology considering that is a huge part of my future job.  I enjoy the professor, but I hope I don’t hate the class material!  After this semester, I will only need to take two classes this fall.  One is offered in the summer and I have thought about taking it then, but I am not sure yet.  I still have a few months to decide.  Well, I would love to chat, but I need to go read for class tomorrow.

What do you think?
