This is the first “rest” week of my plan and I throughly enjoyed the ease. I didn’t push myself at all. I ran at a comfortable pace everyday and enjoyed the runs.
Sunday:
I weighed in at 136.5 lbs. I did not ride my bike today because I procrastinated on a research paper and had to spend the whole day in front of the computer. I should learn not to procrastinate, because my punishment is always not getting to ride.
Monday:
I ran 6 miles in 1:01:41 and climbed 367 feet. My average pace was 10:17 minutes/mile.
Tuesday:
I sat in front of the computer all day and finished the second paper that I put off 🙁
Wednesday:
I ran 6 miles in 1:02:18. My average pace was 10:23 minutes/mile. My GPS messed up and said I ran over 8 miles, so I don’t know my elevation. I ran the exact same route as Monday, so I assume it is similar. This is the first time my Runkeeper app has messed up, but I can’t wait till January when I can afford one of those fancy pants Garmin watches.
Thursday:
I studied.
Friday:
I studied. This semester is almost over and I can feel the pressure of all the last minute tests before finals well. UGH.
Saturday:
I ran 6 miles in 1:01:48 and climbed 362 feet. My average pace was 10:18 minutes/mile. This is my last easy day for a few weeks. I enjoyed it, but it was 70! Really? It is December 1st and I wore shorts and a tank top! I’m not going to complain too much, I still have 3 more months of “winter” to freeze.
What do you think?
