Thanksgiving week went very well, but I was sick Monday-Wednesday. I ran fever the first two days, but, after sweating for two days in a row, it finally broke Tuesday night.
Sunday:
I weighed in at 136.5 lbs. I rode 15.4 miles on my bike in 1:13:40 and climbed 916 feet. I rode this after eating Thanksgiving dinner at the in-laws with my sister-in-law. It was fun to ride with someone else on different roads.
Monday:
I ran 4 miles in 38:11 and climbed 238 feet. My average pace was 9:31 minutes/mile. I ran this on Feester Trail after class.
Tuesday:
I rode 16.17 miles on my bike in 1:23:68 and climbed 1,008 feet. I felt so bad when I started riding, but by the end I was magically healed of my sickness. Fun times.
Wednesday:
I ran 5 miles in 48:13 at my parent’s house and climbed 386 feet. My average pace was 9:38 minutes/mile. I had two interesting encounters with big dogs, but I didn’t have to spray either one. I am still a little jumpy around dogs I don’t know.
Thursday:
I rested and ate way too much food at Thanksgiving dinner.
Friday:
I rested, but Mom and me battled people at the mall, so I guess that counts for something.
Saturday:
I ran 14 miles in 2:32:46 and climbed 956 feet. My average pace was 10:54 minutes/mile. We had to make a quick trip to Cabot to pick up a rescue dog and I had Aaron drop me off 14 miles from the house on the way back. I had to spray 4 big dogs at one house, but they backed off after their eyes started watering. Next time I run by this house I will be quicker on the draw and give them a bigger dose when they start after me.
What do you think?
