Since I finished my training plan for the half marathon, I have just been running and biking randomly. I am paying attention to my weekly milage, but otherwise just having fun. It feels good to just run with no trainer or plan telling me how fast or how far I should go. Here is a summary of the past week:
Sunday:
I have never ran on Sunday, so I decided I should. I liked it and went 4 miles in 38:18.
Monday:
Who says I can’t run again today? I ran 4 miles in 36:03.
Tuesday:
I didn’t have cell lab today, so I hopped on my bike and went 15.19 miles in 1:32:17.
Wednesday:
Yippee for another 4 miles in 39:04.
Thursday:
I am starting to see a pattern here, 4 miles in 39:05.
Friday:
Fall break is awesome, I rode the back roads for 10.09 miles in 59:50 and then went shopping.
Saturday:
I didn’t have anything else better to do, so I ran 13 miles in 2:11:42. I shaved 4 minutes off this course while climbing over 800 feet.
I feel pretty awesome after running 29 miles and biking 25, just ignore the fact that I skipped my swimming workouts this week. I will do better next week. I am also still lifting those weights but I experienced zero soreness. I guess I should increase the poundage next week and really feel the burn.
