>Last year was the first year that I ever made resolutions for the new year and I kept 2 out of 3, so I am going to try this again! Here it goes:
1. Read my Bible every single day. I kept this one last year, but this year I am going to step it up a notch and read the entire Bible in one year. I am using one of YouVersion.com‘s reading plans so I will stay on track. If you are interested, you should check out their site and download the app for your smartphone. Very nice way to always have your Bible with you and keep you on track.
2. Intentionally pray for my husband and sons every single day. I say intentionally, because we all pray for our loved ones, but this year I am going to use Stormie Omartian’s books: Power of a Praying Wife and Power of a Praying Parent. These books give you 30 and 31 chapters that will direct your praying for your spouse and children and expand your prayers to more than just “keep him safe” or “make them act right in public.”
3. Next January 1st, I will weigh 161 pounds or below. This is not that big of a deal because that is what I weighed this morning. I like the way I look right now, so I just plan to maintain. I mean, I wouldn’t mind losing 30 pounds, but I am not going to stress over it this year. 🙂
4. I will wash my face every night before I go to bed. I know, I know. I should be doing this already. How have I made it to my 30th year of life without getting horrible acne? I don’t know, but I thank the Lord Jesus for helping me get this far.
That is all. If I can just keep 3 out of 4 I will be happy 🙂
